Career Jumpstart offers coaching to guide students through the first step in their career. As part of the support we provide, we process personal data. In this privacy statement, you can read about what personal data we process about you and how we use it.

Registration
If you wish to receive guidance or training through Career Jumpstart, we ask you to complete our registration form. We use this form to collect your personal data so that we can schedule an appointment with you and provide you with further information about training courses and coaching.

The support process
We process your personal data in order to carry out your support programme and to provide you with the training and guidance you need. For example, by drawing up and storing progress reports.

We process your personal data for our internal administration. For example, to keep track of how many candidates we are coaching and for which field of study. Reports
We also process personal data in order to produce an annual report for our funders, i.e. the parties that finance our services. The purpose of this report is to provide insight into Career Jumpstart’s activities and results. We use only aggregated data for this report. Your personal data is linked only to a candidate code and not to your name or student number. The recipients of the report cannot therefore trace its contents back to you.

Once your personal data has been incorporated into the report, it can no longer be traced back to you. Consequently, there is no retention period for the reports themselves.
Research
We also process personal data in order to carry out research. The aim of this research is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the support and training we provide. If you are registered with us, we will ask you whether you would like to take part in a research study. If you give your consent, we will process your email address and details of your support process so that we can send you the relevant questionnaire for the study.

Where possible, we will anonymise the responses to the questionnaire before they are used for the research.
